My sons Nintendo DS is laying idle now he has a PSP and i would like a decent flight simulation game/ air combat to play on this winter. My son is into role playing /strategy games therefore he cant make any recommendations on the type of game that i want.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I don’t think that the Nintendo DS is very good for flight simulation games. I think you should get a joystick for PC and get a PC flight simulator. Flight simulators are very realistic for PC and pretty fun. In fact pilots in training use PC flight simulator games to train for real flying. That proves how realistic they are.

Star Fox Command it uses the touch-screen for nearly everything controlling flight in a very innovative way.
