Best DS flight simulation/air combat game recommendations please.?

My sons Nintendo DS is laying idle now he has a PSP and i would like a decent flight simulation game/ air combat to play on this winter. My son is into role playing /strategy games therefore he cant make any recommendations on the type of game that i want.

Please suggest a good flight simulation and/or flight combat game.?

I want a good flight game for the PS2. Simulation or combat or both. There seem to be quite a few but I would rather not buy a stinker. Having a two player mode going head to head in combat would be good also.
What say you all?
